Our Story

Our “once upon a time” began in 1903, when the members of the American Fork Community constructed what is historically known as the American Fork 3rd Ward Meetinghouse, forming The Northampton House we know and love today. Through the years the building transitioned from a ward building, to a private day care center, till the early 2000s when Brent Hawker had a vision of turning the stunning space into a venue. We are honored to watch memories continue to be added to its rich history today, and invite you to do the same.

The Northamton House is beautiful! My daughter had her reception in the Monarch room. If you want to feel like a princess, reserve that room. The staff was amazing to work with, and their communication was great. On the day of the reception everything was set up just how we wanted it and we had someone there checking on us during the event. Great place!

Beautiful space, great people to work with! Newly renovated and a stunning Monarch room that was out of my dreams for my wedding reception. Everything was set how we asked and I was in constant communication with someone who was responsive, considerate, and excited for my event! Such a special spot too, different than so many other venues and completely magical! Loved it!

This is a lovely venue, particularly if you are looking for a place that needs very little in the way of extra decor. It is so charming and was wonderful for a winter wedding, but would be beautiful anytime of the year. Everyone we worked with was kind and accommodating. The experience was positive! Thank you!

I had a great experience hosting my event at the North Hampton House. Lori and her staff had a thorough process and everything was setup exactly as we discussed the day of my event. The space is gorgeous and everything worked flawlessly. This is a well run, professional establishment, for any private or corporate event.

The Northampton House is an absolutely gorgeous venue, and I fell in love with it all over again after seeing it on the day. It was an amazing choice for us, not just because of the beauty of the venue but because of the coordination and care that the owners had. Easily our favorite choice, and one we would make again!

As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen many venues, and Northampton House is truly special! This beautifully preserved 1903 brick building blends historic charm with timeless elegance. The grand staircases, stained glass windows, and airy, light-filled spaces make for stunning photos. Outside, the rose arbor tunnel, wisteria-covered gazebo, and ivy-clad brick create endless romantic backdrops. If you’re looking for a venue with classic beauty and incredible photo opportunities, Northampton House is a must!
